Laser Hair Removal

Winter, when less time is spent in the sun, is the best time for laser hair removal.  There is less melanin in the skin to compete with the melanin in the hair and hair follicle. This can mean better, safer, quicker results for you!

Unwanted hair can be a thing of the past with laser hair removal/reduction!  Stop traumatizing your skin with aggressive tweezing and painful waxing to rid yourself of those unsightly hairs for good. Laser hair removal can also help to eliminate irritating ingrown hairs, razor bumps, and itchy hair regrowth after shaving.

How it works:

Near infrared laser energy is selectively absorbed by melanin in the hair shaft as well as the surrounding follicle, causing damage to the hair bulb so it will no longer produce hair.

What you may feel:

During laser hair removal treatments, you may feel  a slight snapping or poking sensation as the hair shaft and follicle absorb the laser energy. Cooling of the skin helps to reduce this sensation.

How many treatments will it take?

Often clients are satisfied with the results of their hair removal treatments after an average of 4 to 6 treatments spaced 6 to 8 weeks apart. Clients usually have periods of several weeks between treatments when there is no hair growth and experience less hair and finer hair with each treatment.

Common treatment areas:

For Women:  Underarms, upper lip, chin, cheeks, bikini area (panty line to Brazilian), arms, legs, tummy, toes, legs.

For Men (Yes for MEN!!):  Ears, throat (you pick your beard line/ a great way to eliminate ingrown hairs), back of neck, back, shoulders, arms, hands, groin area (yes we do Brazilians for men as well).

Many treatment areas can be treated for as little as 59. per treatment.

Fall and Winter are the best times to begin laser hair removal when sun exposure is minimal.
