Skin Rejuvenation/Tightening/Resurfacing

Healthy and beautiful skin starts below the surface in tissue called collagen. Collagen is a basic building block of the skin and provides the foundation that supports your skin's structure, keeping your skin looking young and healthy. When collagen is damaged by the sun, environmental factors or simply depleted over time, the skin appears thinner and becomes less elastic, resulting in facial lines, wrinkles, texture changes, enlarged pores and visible signs of aging.

Rebuilding collagen helps to improve the skin's tone, reduces wrinkles, reduces or eliminates acne scars, and helps to shrink enlarged pores. Non-ablative skin rejuvenation targets the layers of the skin where collagen is formed, without injury to the skin's surface. The result of a series of treatments is a fresh, young layer of your own natural collagen. With no down time after treatment, you can resume regular activities immediately after the procedure.

How does the laser treatment work?

Radio Frequency energy passes through the epidermis and targets the dermis where collagen is formed. The laser's heat gently stimulates the tissue, which triggers a repair mechanism, and your body begins to rebuild and replenish your own natural collagen without injury to the skin's surface. Results are achieved from the inside out! As new collagen is produced, your skin begins to look softer and younger.

What does a treatment feel like?

Treatments are quick and easy, and usually take less than an hour. Clients typically
feel warmth and see a blush or redness in the treated area for an hour or so following treatment. Best of all, with no down time after treatment, you can apply make-up and resume your regular activities immediately.

What improvements will I see?

Clients have a high degree of satisfaction with their results. Many experience an improvement in both skin tone and texture and report fine and deeper lines becoming less visible and begin to disappear. Improvement is achieved with a series of treatments resulting in collagen enhancement. The average number of treatments is 3 to 5 performed at 2 to 3 week intervals. Improvement continues for up to six months after the treatment series is completed. Occasional touch-up treatments may be suggested to maintain or continue your improvements.

Pixel Resurfacing

With Pixel Resurfacing, Radio Frequency energy creates micro-perforations in the skin to promote a reduction or disappearance of fine lines and wrinkles, acne scars, and stretch marks from the outside in.
